What to Expect
Practice
This class will offer teachings and opportunities to practice mindfulness-based stress management strategies.
Discussion
This class is an interactive opportunity to connect with others and experience the common humanity of dealing with modern day stress.
Tools
Students will learn the 3S strategy for supporting one's self during times of stress. Additionally, other tools will be shared to support mindful stress management.

No previous experience with mindfulness or meditation is required. This workshop will offer strategies that are appropriate for beginners or seasoned practitioners.
No, this workshop will not be recorded.
You may want to have a notebook and something to write with accessible to you. Please also have a quiet, private place to participate. You may want to make sure you have a beverage or snack available.
There will be a short break near the halfway point of the workshop, but please feel free to take care of any needs you may have at other times.

In order to support connection and safety in an online forum, participants are required to be on camera during the class. Off camera is fine during meditation periods.
No other participants are allowed other than those registered. Please assure no one else is in the space where you are attending the class.
This class is not mental health therapy. If you are in the midst of significant crisis or emotional upheaval, this class may not be a good fit at this time. If you are experiencing such issues it is recommended that you consult with your therapist prior to registration.
Please make every effort to attend and participate in each class. Classes are only as rich as the students who show up and are part of it.
There is no refund for no-shows to the workshop.
